Self-action of a point charge in the space-time of a wormhole with a throat of zero length

Abstract
We consider a point charge at rest in the space-time of a wormhole with a throat of zero length. Using the simplest model of the metric, we find the self-energy and the self-force; the latter appears to be attractive.
