Dear colleague,
It is a pleasure for us to invite you to take part in the 12 Russian Gravitational Conference -
international conference on general relativity, cosmology and relativistic astrophysics to be held in
Kazan, Russia from June 20 till June 26, 2005. Such conferences are organized by the Russian
Gravitational Society once in 3 years in different Russian cities. Usually, scientists from all
Russian groups working in these fields participate.
Kazan is a big city on the bank of Volga river, about 800 km from Moscow to the east (1.5 hour
flight or night train from Moscow). It is a city where Lobachevsky and Petrov worked at the Kazan
State University. The program of the conference includes plenary and sectional reports and non-formal
discussions on the latest developments in the theory of gravitation, theoretical and observational
cosmology and astrophysics, gravitational experiments, fundamental constants etc. Working languages
are Russian and English.
