First Announcement

Dear Colleagues!

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia invites you to take part in the XLVIII Russian conference on problems in Particle Physics, Plasma Physics, Condensed Matter, and Optoelectronics, Russia, Moscow, 15-18 May, 2012.

The Conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Professor Yakov Petrovich Terletsky (1912-1993), the famous theoretical physicist, founder of the Theoretical Physics Department of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. He made an important contribution to particle and statistical physics and the development of higher education in Russia.

The conference aims:

Unification and generalization of new ideas in theoretical and experimental physics revealing the most actual trends of scientific investigation in the fields of particle physics, plasma physics, condensed matter, and optoelectronics, support of efforts of physicists in Russia and abroad interested in the development of science and higher education.

Information:

Conference official languages are Russian and English.

Contributions in Russian should have a short abstract in English. Proceedings of the Conference will be published. The volume of these contributions shouldn't exceed 4 pages in Word 2003, a line spacing - unary, font Times New Roman, size 12, the title of is printed in large bold letters in the center of the text. The full name of the Institute / organization, city, country - after the text.

Deadline for the submission is April 15, 2012.

The Conference fee amounts to 1000 RR and should be paid after reception of the notice of acceptance of the contribution.

The invited talks will be published in the special issue of Bulletin of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (volume up to 20 pages in LaTex).

The beginning of the conference work - May 15, 2012.
